THE 64km JOHN WALTON MEMORIAL TROPHY for CORPORATE,CLUB & SOCIAL TEAMS and INDIVIDUAL ENTRIES

  • A Timed Event over 4 laps of the closed road circuit (64km) Team times taken on the 2nd last Team rider over the finish line

  • Start 7.40am at the Lakes Access Rd. pick up Timing Wheel Tags at Check-In at the Facilities Island before 7.20am

  • Team size from 4 to 6, Male or Female or mixed ( no riders under 19 years age)

  • Entry Cost $ 45 per person includes event insurance and the Timing wheel tag (which must be returned to Cycling WA Check-In desk after the event to avoid being charged a $20 replacement cost )

  • Prizes for 1st Team Overall, Best Dressed Team, best Individual Male and Female,presentations at 12 noon


    • THE PUBLIC PARTICIPATION 32km TEAMS EVENT
  • This is a timed event designed for social, school, and other groups riding as a team for 2 laps of the closed road circuit (32km)

  • Team times taken as the 2nd last team member across the finish line

  • Team size 4 to 6 riders, Juniors aged 12 to 15 must have an accompanying adult. No riders under 12 years age

  • Hand and Tandem Cyclists welcome

  • Start 9.30am at the Lakes Access Rd. Pick up Timing Wheel Tag at Check-In at the Facilities Island before 9.15am

  • Entry cost Adult $40, School Students $25 includes event insurance and the Timing Wheel Tag (which must be returned to Cycling WA Check-In desk after the event to avoid being charged a $20 replacement cost)

  • Prizes awarded to the best Fancy Dressed Team , All entries go in the draw for RAFFLE PRIZES drawn at Presentations at 12 noon


    • THE PUBLIC PARTICIPATION 32km INDIVIDUAL RIDE
  • Follows the Closed Road Circuit for 2 laps. 32km (You may opt out after 1 lap if you so wish )

  • Children aged 12 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult

  • Sorry, but no children under the age of 12 unless in an approved child bike seat or carrier

  • Start 9.32 am. At the Lakes Access Rd. Assemble at the Facilities Island check-In by 9.15 am

  • Hand and Tandem Cyclists welcome

  • Entry cost includes event insurance Adult $40,School students $25

  • All entries go in the draw for RAFFLE PRIZES drawn at presentations 12 noon


    • THE PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SHORT COURSE and FAMILY RIDE for 5 or 10km
  • Follows the Champions Lakes Event Track closed to all except event participants. Complete either 1 lap =5km or 2 laps

  • Scheduled start at 9.45 am on the Lakes Event Track. Assemble at the Facilities Island Check-In by 9.30am

  • Sorry but no children under 6 years of age riding bikes. Only approved child bike seats or carriers may be used.

  • Children aged 6 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult

  • Entry Cost includes event insurance Adult $ 20, School Students $10,Family 2 Adults & 2 children $45

  • All entries go in the draw for RAFFLE PRIZES drawn at presentations 12 noon


    • Cyclists with a disability are encouraged to join in either of the two above rides and should also refer to Special Events on the following page
